Kick off the start of summer and enjoy our newest exhibition, BEES: A Story of Survival, at RAD: Locally Crafted. Sip your way through Ontario’s most iconic craft beers and wines, perfectly paired with bites from some of Toronto’s top restaurants. Roam the galleries and catch performances, including an exciting live collaboration between Robot Orchestra creator Danny Shaddick and award-winning rapper Shad, presented with Altas Obscura and Destination Toronto.

Moving Monuments featuring Danny Shaddick and Shad

Moving Monuments is a collaboration between Robot Orchestra creator Danny Shaddick and award-winning rapper Shad. The project, brought to life in partnership with Atlas Obscura and Destination Toronto, channels the Toronto's innovative, diverse energy. Enjoy multiple short performances throughout the night. 

Danny Shaddick is an artist, musician, and architect whose work explores public interaction through kinetic sound sculpture and urban-inspired music. 

Shad is rapper and broadcaster who has won the Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year in 2011. Five of his albums have been shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize, the most short-list nominations of any artist in the prize's history.

DJ T.Lo

TLO is a certified turntable wizard and longtime DJ for Shad. A DMC Canada champion and Scribble Jam winner, he’s been behind the decks on Shad’s Polaris-shortlisted projects while continuing to evolve as a producer and recording artist with new music on the horizon. Expect sharp cuts, smooth blends, and serious energy all night long.

Trash Panda Brass returns to RAD to wow audiences with fun upbeat brass covers of pop songs!​ They regularly play at community events, festivals, educational workshops and even the streets of Toronto. With all arranging done by the members, Trash Panda Brass is known for their upbeat and fun loving tunes, paying homage to quintessential queer hits and icons.

Cozmic Cat

A House and electronic music DJ and producer who is known for her dynamic, high-energy performances and boundary-crossing collaborations. As a Black, queer artist, she brings a distinctive perspective to the global music scene, blending electronic House with funk, disco, Latin, pop, soul, and Tech House, creating an inclusive, world-class sound that resonates across cultures and communities.

Hitmen Drumline

Giving marching drums a contemporary twist, The Hitmen mix high energy performance and funky grooves with the precision, power, and spectacle. Featuring some of the best pro drummers in the business, expect to be fired up by their performances!

Fawn Big Canoe is your friendly queer DJ from Toronto and a proud Chippewa of Georgina Island. Her playful disco and house heavy sets melt together with an effortless execution all while radiating messages of positivity, love, togetherness and the importance of having a good time.

Sean Stanley Trio

This marvelous group plays a mix of Jazz, Swing and the Blues. Be prepared to hear the likes of Louis Armstrong, Lester Young, Ray Charles as well as some original compositions. Featuring Juno winner, Kyle Tarder-Stoll on the tenor-sax, Max Simpson on the bass, and Sean Stanley on the keys and vocals.
